Nashik: A total of 6,233 members of the tribal community performed the Godavari Aarti in Nashik, setting a world record recognised by Guinness World Records.
The mass religious performance marked another record-setting event in the city, following a similar achievement on October 25, when more than 500 conch shells were blown simultaneously.
The two events have added to Nashik’s record of large-scale cultural and religious gatherings.
