Washington: US President Donald Trump has said Iran is interested in reaching an agreement, indicating that negotiations could be possible amid the ongoing conflict.
Claiming that the US was gaining the upper hand, Trump said Iran’s navy and air force had been destroyed and that the country was facing a severe economic crisis.

He also alleged that Iran was experiencing inflation of more than 300%, its highest in 15 years, and was running short of funds.
Trump further said oil prices had plunged by $10 in a single day, describing it as the biggest single-day decline in history. He predicted that prices would fall further.
