Moscow: Trilateral talks involving Russia, Ukraine and the United States could resume after November 10 as diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine continue, according to reports. Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly agreed to the resumption of negotiations, which are expected to focus on a possible ceasefire and future security arrangements.
The development follows a meeting between Putin and Steve Witkoff, special envoy of US President Donald Trump. Yuri Ushakov, the Russian president’s foreign policy adviser, provided details of the discussions, which are seen as part of Washington’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict.

Before travelling to Russia, Witkoff reportedly met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders in Oslo to discuss possible approaches to ending the war. The discussions are expected to cover the terms of a potential ceasefire, security guarantees for both countries and the framework for a future peace process.
However, significant differences between Moscow and Kyiv remain a major obstacle to an agreement. The terms of any ceasefire and the nature of post-war security arrangements have yet to be clarified.
